Helios Pulse wearable
Medical disclaimer: please read carefully
Helios Pulse is a health monitoring device. It is not a diagnostic device and does not replace consultation with a qualified healthcare professional. Alerts generated by Helios Pulse are indicative and must be confirmed by a licensed clinician before any clinical action is taken. Clinical validation data (98.5% ECG accuracy, 3.2% false positive rate) represents performance under controlled conditions: individual results may vary.
- The 1-year warranty covers manufacturing defects under normal intended use. It does not cover physical damage, liquid immersion beyond the device's rated water resistance, or unauthorized modification.
- Helios Pulse is under review by the Uganda National Drug Authority (NDA). Device approval status is subject to change: we will notify pre-order customers of any material changes to regulatory status.
- Pre-order cancellations must be requested before shipment confirmation by contacting support@app-healthplus.com.
Payments & wallet
The Health Plus Wallet is a digital prepaid health spending account: not a bank account. Wallet funds may only be used for healthcare services within the Helios partner network. Helios does not pay interest on wallet balances.
Accepted payment methods
Mobile Money (MTN and compatible services), credit/debit cards, and existing Health Plus Wallet balance.
Refund policy
Refunds are handled case by case. Contact support@app-healthplus.com with your order details. Completed telemedicine consultations are non-refundable unless there is a documented service failure.
Disputed transactions
Raise transaction disputes through the Health Plus App or by emailing support within 30 days of the transaction date.
Wallet freeze
We reserve the right to freeze wallet funds if we detect fraudulent activity, a court order requires it, or you are in breach of these Terms.
Payment processing is handled by PCI-DSS compliant third-party providers. Full payment card numbers are never stored on Helios systems. For pricing, see the Health Plus Card and Helios Pulse product pages.
Healthcare services
Platform vs. provider distinction
Helios is a technology platform that connects patients with independent licensed healthcare providers. Helios Health Ltd is not itself a healthcare provider and does not employ the doctors registered on the platform. The quality and accuracy of medical advice provided by doctors is the responsibility of those individual licensed professionals under the laws of Uganda.
- Telemedicine consultations are suitable for many conditions: follow-ups, prescription renewals, chronic disease management: but are not appropriate for medical emergencies. In an emergency, call your local emergency number immediately.
- Consultation fees are set independently by each doctor. The fee is displayed before booking. Payment is deducted from your Health Plus Wallet on booking confirmation.
- Consultation recording requires explicit consent from both patient and doctor before recording begins. Either party may decline recording without consequence to the consultation.
- Digital prescriptions issued through the platform are the legal responsibility of the prescribing doctor. Helios does not validate, endorse, or take responsibility for prescriptions.
- Doctor profiles, credentials, and registration numbers are verified by Helios at onboarding. We conduct periodic re-verification but cannot guarantee real-time credential validity. If you have concerns about a specific doctor, contact us immediately.

Termination
You may close your account at any time by contacting support@app-healthplus.com. We may suspend or terminate your access immediately for violations of these Terms, legal requirements, or fraud. On termination, clauses relating to intellectual property, limitation of liability, and governing law survive indefinitely.
